Lymington Chamber of Commerce

Welcome to the Chamber
St Thomas' Church

Lymington is a great place to do business … particularly when you’re a member of Lymington and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

And despite the current economic downturn, this independent organisation is in great shape – drawing well over 100 members from the retail, manufacturing, leisure and tourism, professional, marine and service sectors of local commerce and industry.

So why does it make sense to be a Chamber member?

We actively encourage members to do more business with each other, via our exclusive PLUS Card scheme and at our monthly networking breakfast meetings where recent speakers have included the BBC’s health correspondent David Fenton, Phil Dominey from South West Trains and New Forest MP Desmond Swayne.

We represent the Lymington business community at local, district and regional levels of Government and aim to ensure that our members’ views, needs and concerns are understood and acknowledged by key decision-makers.

We speak up for members on local issues such as the introduction of Wightlink’s new ferries and the Harbour Commissioners’ plan to build a harbour protection scheme.

We support the Community Rail Partnership and are working to develop closer links with the police.

“Everyone on the Board is committed to making sure that Lymington remains a thriving business community,” said President Jenny Welker, “By visiting this website we hope you’ll find lots of good reasons to join us at the Chamber.”
