Free Online Contact Profile
Each member has an online profile which they can use as a contact point if they do not have a website or in addition to a website. Just use the following link anywhere with the relevant profile number https://www.lymington.biz/profile/1 at the end.
Free Listing
As a LDCCI member you qualify for a free listing on the Find A Member page. You can add up to three main categories to your listing and add further keywords relating to what you can offer within the main description to make sure all the services you offer can be found when someone searches the database. This page is indexed by Google and can help you find more business if you choose your words carefully.
Networking Events
We hold monthly Breakfast meetings for networking which may also include a presentation by a fellow member which we think may be of benefit to other members. As a member you have the opportunity to meet other members to discuss mutually beneficial opportunities. For more details see HERE and online booking HERE
Post Special Offers
We plan very soon to add the facility for members to post news to the front page of the LDCCI website directly from their profiles. This increases the visibility of your business and enables access to another stream for getting your word out. Please note this will be a moderated service so any new news items will be checked before publication.
Post on our Facebook page
As part of the continuing development of this website, we intend to make it possible for all new news items to be posted to our Facebook page in the near future.
Independent
LDCCI are not aligned to any particular political philosophy or business niche and so have a wide range of members which offers you the opportunity to interface with businesses and organisations outside of your own business sphere. We have numerous examples of how members from different niches have worked together to create something outstanding by combining their sometimes disparate specialities.
Special Deals From Other Members
We encourage members to do business with each other through the member to member offers giving you as a member discounts and other reductions not available outside of the LDCCI. See further details HERE
Diverse Membership
Importantly being non-aligned and non-niche means that as a representative body we can speak on behalf of our all members without being limited to one narrow paradigm. It means we see the bigger picture because we have to in order to represent out members. As a member you benefit from meeting members you might not otherwise.
Wide Geographical Catchment
Not only do we have a wide variety of businesses and organisations, we also have a wide geographical area to draw from. Running a business from some towns and villages in the area can be a little isolating, we make it easier to meet businesses and organisations outside of your immediate location who might need what you have to offer.
Local Information
The LDCCI is informed of local issues and events as a matter of course through our contacts with local council and other organisations. We email this out to members so that you as a member are kept abreast of things happening that may affect you.
Membership FAQ’s

Why do I have to pay to join?
Unlike simple networking groups whose function is solely to provide potential business opportunities to their members, the Chamber considers it has a responsibility to support its members in the communities in and around Lymington. This means that the Chamber will sponsor events or give grants to facilitate business within the community. We also subsidise the networking events and training for members so the subscriptions are a means of investing in our members and our communities.
What business niche do you serve?
We are not focussed on any particular niche, and in fact although we serve businesses, we have a number of non-business members. We have local government, charities, community groups and churches as members and that gives us a unique position and outlook.
How can I pay?
You can pay online using PayPal, send a cheque made out to Lymington & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry, pay by direct bank transfer sort code 30 95 32 account no. 01567753 (Please put your BUSINESS NAME as reference) or request an invoice to pay against.
