A walk around Buckland Rings with New Forest National Park Authority Archaeologist James Brown, with an introductory talk and breakfast following. Learn how this impressive, peaceful site and it’s buried secrets reveals the evolution of a local community from prehistoric hamlet to modern-day Lymington. Meet at the Monkey House Pub, 167 Southampton Road, Lymington SO41 9HA on 17th October at 7 am for the walk, breakfast and talk at 8 am. N.B. if you intend to join the walk, please wear suitable clothing, if you intend to only attend the breakfast, please turn up at 7.45 am.
